My name is Mitchell Dean, and I am currently an undergraduate student at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. I am currently majoring in Information Technology and Informatics with a minor in Digital Communication, Information, & Media. When I am not doing school work, I currently work at a Healthcare Software company called ELLKAY as a Jr. Support Analyst. During my free time, I often play video games with my friends online. I started off being a huge gamer on a typical Xbox console, but I ended up building my own gaming computer as I got older.
Once I built my own gaming computer, I knew I had a love for technology beyond gaming. This was when I ended up going back to school at Rutgers and majoring in IT. During my Rutgers experiences, I have learned how to code websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Linux, and much more. As I plan to graduate in the spring semester this year, I look forward to bringing the knowledge I learned at Rutgers into the real world.
During my time at Rutgers University, I was involved in multiple projects within a team and by myself. With the advancement in technology working in teams on projects and assignments has become much simpler than in earlier times. I found it very important to be able to work efficiently and effectively in groups because it helps prepare you for future assignments involved in work or other activities.
